Hicham plays drums for more than 20 years, he played with bunch of known artists in his country (Morocco) and had recorded albums with them, like Nabyla Maan or Kelma Band, and also he was the drummer for the progressif rock/metal band « Syncopea ». He played almost at all the Moroccan festivals including the internationnaly known "Mawazine" and "festival des musiques sacrées de fes" or "Tanjazz". And some concerts abroad. Also he has been on tv and radio many times, with the bands and also for his solo project. He has won some prizes with the bands such as the best Moroccan rock/metal band and also the best Moroccan fusion album with the bands Numydia and Syncopea. Currently he is the drummer for Coolshy Band One of his skills is the independance playing (terry bozzio style) by using multiple pedals, based on playing ostinato grooves with the feet and soloing with the hands
